"God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we, murderers of all murderers, console ourselves? That which was the holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet possessed has bled to death under our knives. Who will wipe this blood off us? With what water could we purify ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we need to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we not ourselves become gods simply to be worthy of it?" ..... Nietzsche .... those were words of a madman which he chose as a character and placed the words in his mouth ..... Nietzsche was so close to madness as well .... so he called himself the anti-christ .... yet the man was not insane by saying god is dead ..... he only meant "he's dead in us" which is true ..... before solidity of needs and existance the highness of divinity crumbles ... god to many people in an inevitable need ... and all needs are subject to prioritization .... this is how god was killed by denial of spiritual needs ......
