AB theory is ASSUME ...... hypothesis is the very root of theory .... in order to form a theory about a certain factor we assume all relevant factors are constant, like assuming temperature is constant on observing volume-pressure relation in gas ..... and assuming any of them is constant to find the relation between the other two factors ..... or even to come out with a constant it depends on finding order of relation .... now order turns to be the key to chaos theory. In chaos theory and on contrary with all other theories studying ORDER of a regular relation it studies order "underlying DISORDER" .... one of the funniest notes someone can ever read in "Mathematics Of Chaos" was "does God play dice?" ..... that's the point .... God is not playing dice but we are slaves to determinism .... Edward Lorenz. In 1960 was working on the problem of weather prediction. He had a computer set up, with a set of twelve equations to model the weather. It didn't predict the weather itself. However this computer program did theoretically predict what the weather might be.
One day in 1961, he wanted to see a particular sequence again. To save time, he started in the middle of the sequence, instead of the beginning. He entered the number off his printout and left to let it run. When he came back an hour later, the sequence had evolved differently. Instead of the same pattern as before, it diverged from the pattern, ending up wildly different from the original. (See figure 1.)(introduction to chaos theory)
The mathematics inside Lorenz's model of atmospheric currents was widely studied in the 1970's. Gradually it came to be known that even the smallest imaginable discrepancy between two sets of initial conditions would always result in a huge discrepancy at later or earlier times, the hallmark of a chaotic system, of course.
upon the above studies the "Butterfly Effect" which refers to the idea that whether or not a butterfly flaps its wings in a certain part of the world can make the difference in whether or not a storm arises one year later on the other side of the world arised. (manifestation of chaos) ....
Disorder caused order to arise ..... and the separation between eternally consistant cause and effect was a result ... evaporation of notions is as easy as erasing pencil lead .....
