a very simple idea but the only reason why i submit this entry is because of the great degree of resemblence between no exit and life itself ... no was an existentialist play of my very favs .... started with valetr leading a man called Garcin into a room ... all rooms look like eachother .... lights are never off and there are no mirrors in there ..... old copper statues as far as i can remember .... the corners of the room are not the issue ... the whole issue is the companionship ... once Garcin came in the very first thing he asked about was the means by which they will be tormented .... and then comes Inès who was a lesbian woman ... and she asks the same question then asks for her lesbian partner who was the main reason why she was led there ... actually it started to sound weird when the third partner led by the valet is Estelle who betrayed her husband and killed her own daughter ... what was Garcin's sin then??? it was his cowardcy and his lies ... well the question why they were led to such place by the valet will be answered when u know how the valet's eyes are never closed .... he's a guardian in hell ... no wounder all of them were led there asking for means of tormenting ... and they were all knowing it must be some reason because they can't be led there for nothing .... what a mess ... we might think they were led there for real physical torment but their real torture was in themselves being together ... a lesbain lady witha very beautiful one and a coward who likes the pretty woman and the three of them are going against eachother because Ines was aware of Garcin's cowardcy more than anyone lese and he can never prove the opposite to the world and yet his only torture was her ... and Ines was feeling so bad watching her beloved Estelle with Garcin ... and Garcin can't react towards Estelle's love because of his very obvious cowardcy which is so obvious to Ines ... seemingly perfect companions .... perfect for being in themselves the torture tools used against eachother ... in the end Garcin opens the door to get out ... he stops because he can't .... simply because they only have eternity there ....
was interesting to me the first time i read it but it made no difference when i realized the jigsaw puzzle we live is as Sartre's "No EXIT" ... hope u got the point
