what I am writing is based upon personal observation and a situation I witnessed myself .... which is when one of the teachers wrote an equation with different symbol ..... we never interpreted .... ironic it was a very easy one ... a mathematical relation between variables but misinterpretation came from the difference in symbols .... ironic we are only slaves of symbols we keep in minds as standards though "X" as an abstract symbol for example only symbolizes a variable regardless the identity of the variable ..... "x" years refer to age while "x" meters refer to length .....
so we can say Q*= EOQ because the represented values are the same in both which is the economic order quantity ...
